Grand Opening
Feb-21-2009

Virginia Beach Family Medical Center opened their doors Monday, February 9, 2009 to more people than expected.

“I haven’t had time to hang a picture frame in my office,” said facility Manager, Patricia Reynolds. “We didn’t expect so many patients in our first week.”

Located at 940 General Booth Blvd, the seventh medical center sponsored by Peninsula Institute for Community Health (PICH), is a primary care medical facility serving the entire family and accepting the insured and uninsured.

“We don’t have such a thing as a ‘free visit’ but our pricing can start as low as $15.00 for those patients who can prove no income and no insurance,” said Ms. Reynolds.  Ms. Reynolds explained that required lab tests can be completed on site for an extra $5.00. No walk-ins! Patients must call for an appointment and a photo ID is required.  Clinic interpreter will help Spanish speakers make appointment and interpret during doctor visit.  Call 757-425-3610 to make an appointment.
